Yep. Same guy. Was a larger than life figure. Ask most anyone around back then and they will tell you a story about him.
I didn't know him well as we didn't do a lot of work for him. One day, people were just talking about it "remember that guy from such and such case, he was probably murdered..." This was before the show of course. Also had dealings with the guy who is supposedly behind the murder.

Had a client years ago that was well known in town. He was found dead in a Motel and it was classified as a OD.
