Has to go to the US embassy to renew his a year early because he ran out of pages. I thought the same - that there was an extra booklet you could buy. But he said nope, not anymore. But I dunno.

Does anyone know how to apply for a passport with extra pages?

I just did it with an online application. It’s an option. The entire online process was less than two weeks.

Also, if you’re getting a new passport simply because you’re out of pages you should be able to add pages.
