a fundraiser. I tell them they can always just donate to the school or sports team. That way we can ensure 100% of the money goes to the school or to the organization they want to receive money. There has been a total of 0 donations in the 14 years my kids have attended this school.

I also see them say, "why don't we just run the fundraisers to make sure 100% of the funds go to the school?" Again that has happened 0 times in 14 years and I can guarantee it won't happen before my 4th grader finishes 12th grade.

I do HATE fundraisers too, but those companies who run them are a necessary evil.
