I found it very difficult to navigate the subway and train system
Uber works just great.
If you are getting a train pass or plan on using the trains, I try to familiarize yourself with the routes and stations and what sort of tickets to buy. Very difficult to buy on site without prior knowledge and hard to find help. So be very early
