For those who have visited Japan with zero knowledge of Japanese language —
Any issues with getting around on your own?
Any issues outside Tokyo and other major cities?
Any tips?
I assume that if you're armed with a smart phone it's far easier than in the past.
Thinking of a trip and I've never been.
