1.Big Island
2. Kauai- beautiful, getting more expensive and populated
3. Oahu-lots to do, best island for first timers
4. Maui- too expensive, beautiful but too populated.

Interwebs also recommend Ke’e Beach but you need a permit. Also a winter no-go.
