I have Crohn’s, so it is a bit of a journey, but I am going in the right direction. I about cried when I had to let my niece and her fiancé take my tickets for Saturday, against Kansas. I have only missed about 3 games in 20 years, one being for my father’s funeral, my daughter’s birth, and the other I was in the hospital.
The staph hit my lungs(abscess), kidneys, and the hardware in my ankle, and then my blood. I still have at least 4 weeks of IV antibiotics, and my RN wife said I am not ready to make the 200 mile round trip drive, yet. (Debatable, but she won this round) I am still holding out for the last home game against Houston. I gave them to my niece as an early wedding present, because her fiancé is a diehard Coug fan, as well, and I will never let an opposing fan sit in my seats. Lol
