The assumptions, attitudes and commentary this week are the same as nearly every other this season, it's almost uncanny. Outside of game 1, listen to sports radio any given week this year and'd likely hear something like 'No disrespect intended but this is probably going to be a game that BYU loses and shows their real limitations'.

Then we win - sometimes big, sometimes just bare, but for many, it's the same take. It's pretty amazing

And I agree, it has surely helped the team stay focused.
