it's a better deal to keep them on mine until they're 22 or so, then I move them off
I get economies of scale having multiple drivers/cars. it doesn't start to be about equal until they get older.
I also transfer ownership of the car they're driving to them completely and have them insured for that car and I'm off entirely as owner.
