We were losing to SMU at half

Kansas St we got a FG with 2 minutes left in the first half to cut the deficit to 3

Wyoming was 14-7 with a minute left in the first half

Arizona was 14-7 at half

Oklahoma St we were losing 21-14 at half

Even UCF we were only up 7 with a minute left in the half

For as good as we've been, the only team we jumped out to a big early lead was Baylor.

We've consistently closed the first half really strong, managing to score in tiny time frames. And then we've built on that in the second half. But the first 27 minutes haven't been as good as the last 27 and definitely not on par with the middle 6.

If we want to demoralize and break Utah, earlier is better
