Since when has that been the gold standard for being a successful BYU bball HC?

I don't recall Rose ever taking too much criticism for the first six years in his career before he finally got one. Not in his final seven years, either. Despite having arguably the most loaded & talented BYU roster ever in one of those years (& nearly ALL LDS talent).
