I’ve never experienced learned helplessness like you’re describing. I don’t like drawing attention to oneself over the team, but your idea that you need to give up and be silent because you’re behind is pretty loserly.
But that’s not the part that bugs me. It’s your acting like fans shouting “beat down” is some kind of virtue.
