What other outcome would be better in terms of him doing his job for his team in a 4th down situation? He's a punt specialist that punts the ball and he just hit the jackpot with a 79 yard punt and you want him to quietly walk off the field without getting excited?
What do you think he spent the week doing to prep for this game? For months prepping for this season? Practicing how to keep his emotions in check as a punter?
No. He's been practicing punting to execute and give his team the best field position he can in a bad situation where they're giving the ball back.
Sounds like he did that. I didn't see it so maybe he was over the top given the score, but sometimes people celebrate their own execution because a punt play is literally his world.
