I do not see any way that Utah players fail to get up for this game. It’s rivalry, they’ve got a bunch of talented guys who have personal pride, etc., and I assume they love to play as as much as we do. They’re gonna come out and give us a fight.

Now what I could see happening is that if we get up multiple scores early and the offense looks inept, they may eventually start to mail it in or at least press and make mistakes. Losing four games in a row does take a mental toll.

Seizing the lead early creates some disproportionate advantages for us I think. Here’s hoping that’s what we’re able to do and that it eventually leads to the Utes getting boat raced.
