If the Jazz got the deal done for Collins, Clarkson, and salary filler plus either Williams, Hendriks, or Filipowski as a young player plus seven FRP (2025 CLE and MIN; 2027 LAL, UTA, MIN, and CLE; 2029 MIN or CLE), then I would vote for that.
The Jazz can’t trade their own pick in 25 or 26 because of the OKC protections until after the lottery in those years.
That would give them starting lineup of Kessler, Giannis, Markkanen, George, and Sexton with Filipowski, Williams, Sensabaugh, and Collier in the rotation (this assumes Hendriks gets traded).
That team still looks a bit middle of the road to me because of questionable fit with Kessler and Giannis and George’s lack of development so far.
Now what would be really interesting is if Giannis got hurt significantly, Bucks decided to blow it up because they are terrible and Giannis is hurt, and then the Jazz add Giannis but still get a top-five pick this season to make a run in 2026.
