So no young talent? Why would the Bucks want that as opposed to someone who was
willing to give them young talent?

Remember the Bucks had Lillard who was older, not nearly as good and they got 3 first round picks, 2 swaps, Deandre Ayton, Robert Williams and Malcom Brogdon. Ayton was 25 and despite some shortcomings in Phoenix, is considered one of the most talented young centers in the league. Robert Williams was also a promising 25 year old big guy who everyone raved about on the Celtics.

Those are two, young proven big guys and a starter quality PG + 3 picks + 2 swaps for a guy who is leaps and bounds worse than Giannis and older.

I actually expect Giannis to be traded. But I think the key piece in the trade will be a young guy the Bucks can build around. So like if you won the lottery in the offseason you could offer Flagg, 5 first round picks and 3 swaps for Giannis and they would at least take your call.

The Thunder are thought to be in the lead as they would offer prized guard Jalen Williams. Williams (23) is in his 3rd year and just last year he averaged 19, 4.5, 4 on the #1 seed in the West. All while playing superb defense. Last year (it almost assuredly has gone up) Simmons ranked him as #20 on his value of tradable assets. I think you would need a player like that to even get in the door. I guess we will see.
