You seem to think they are light years ahead of us and I don't know what you have seen to warrant that. Could they boat-race us? Yes, it could happen, see TCU and Georgia. But that TCU team beat a more talented Texas and Michigan team (in different ways I might add).
You are 100% wrong about blue goggles here. You are just ignoring that these talented teams are beatable and have flaws. Neither of these teams are playing like 2022 Georgia (and even that team barely escaped a very average at best Missouri team). We could have a clunker and lose badly, but this team is more than the sum of the parts and it is no long shot to say they could rise to the occasion and beat Clemson, this Bama, or A&M because those teams have already shown they have flaws to exploit
