I don't think that's 100% the case. For example...
...I was skeptical of Jake as QB1 but not of Arod as the OC and playmaker. I needed to see Jake in action for a few games this season to feel some confidence that he was the guy.
I have always thought Arod was a good OC and playcaller and was impressed with him going back to how he handled the 2019 season juggling between ZW, Hall and Romney and put together schemes and play calls tailored to each guy.
