I wonder if this is the result of Young being new and not realizing that probably the majority of the BYU fan base

is not within driving distance of Provo. Yes, the highest concentration of BYU fans are along the Wasatch Front, and there are enough fans there to fill up the MC. But if you took all BYU fans worldwide, the fans in Utah and Salt Lake Counties would be a minority of all fans worldwide.
