national/global fan base. For those of us out of state who live and breath BYU football and basketball, not televising games stinks. It's also not like we are playing Duke the 3rd game. There will be plenty of game film by the time we play anyone of consequence.

Not that we are entitled to anything necessarily. But also, the great fan support, including out of state support at away games, is really what separates BYU athletics from many other programs. You definitely want to keep that part of your fan base (which is a large part of the fan base) engaged.
