At the beginning, BYU had to come to the table with $1m minimum. $500k was to buy him out of his Real Madrid contract, and then his reps said that they wouldn’t even talk to BYU if they didn’t at least start at $500k.

That’s about all I can tell you. But as I said above, only a handful of people know the real numbers. And BYU wants to keep it that way.
