That is not quite correct since Utah finishing in 4th likely means beating BYU
which in turn increases the likelihood of BYU finishing lower. The results/outcomes are not independent so you'd need to factor that in to the math. Still a very low probability of it happening (for sure <2% and probably <1%), but not as low as what you are calculating.

No - if they tie for first then they both show up in the 1 column. Don't try to do tie breakers here.
