As a lifelong East Coaster, the one thing I appreciate here is the trees and
Greenery.
You fly into DC, and you swear you are landing in a forest.
But I agree with you that the mountains of the west are spectacular…those vistas and being able to see 40 miles away, is very cool.
I can’t see more than a few blocks in any direction, and that feels weird sometimes…
