I remember Virginia coming into town years ago and fans in the north end zone were actively taunting their fans. People were just laughing about it. I can't see that happening in this day and age. I think we've been humbled and can also see the goodwill that can come about by being welcoming and gracious. I really like the transition that our fans have gone through. Not that we were ever hostile, we just weren't as hospitable as we are now. I hope the pride cycle doesn't kick in and we go back to that place. I don't think we will.
