that Ute fans are. I think even if it would've gone down like you say most of us would've been dang grateful to get out of the MW and have enough decency not to poison our own well with the insufferable arrogance and petulance of Utah fans.
The main undoing of Utah fans in this whole transition is due to two things. 1) they are so desperate to be seen as big time and elite that they overstate their stature and importance in an effort to make it so. It's so obvious it comes from insecurity. They think if they're arrogant enough and snobbish enough it'll make them look like blue bloods, but they don't have the resume. Like the saying goes for attorneys, "when the facts are on your side, pound the facts. When the law is on your side, pound the law, when neither is on your side, pound the table." Their insecurity and frustration over not being seen as what they want to be drives them crazy, which leads to
2) social media. Because of twitter, the entire world can see their ridiculous, delusional mindset first hand. No more of this word of mouth anecdotal garbage about how arrogant BYU fans are. People can see it's (by and large) completely untrue, and since people can't generally hide who they are, people see that Ute fans are in many instances far worse than anything they accuse us of being.
