It will be interesting to see what OSU does with the remainder of its schedule.
Ollie was coming back after the Doak Walker award last year - more than 2K yards. What we saw is what everyone expected to see all year this year. Their OL is the "most experienced OL in college football" this year, but has been struggling run blocking.

So - I like to ascribe some of their success to making good use of their bye week to light a fire under the players and getting them to begin performing more like they'd been expected to perform all season. They blocked better than they have - so that's good on them.

At the same time - I got tired of counting the times that their QB made Batty look silly as he crashed down on the RB and the QB pulled the ball, ran around him, and picked up big yards. It would've been nice if just ONCE Batty had sealed the end and lit up the QB with a big hit. In the first half, at least, most of their running yards were from the QB pulling the ball and running for the edge - while the DE followed the RB into the middle of the line instead of hitting the QB.

I don't know if that's on the coaches, for not having Batty take the QB. Or if that's on Batty - for not trusting his teammates to take the RB and falling for the fake handoff and letting the QB go.
