They have deservedly punished teams with very weak SOS (g5 teams), sure the argument can be made that the g5 teams can only play who they are able to schedule in OOC games, but the results have shown that they have gotten it right way more than they have gotten it wrong
The only time they arguably showed any true "SEC bias" is when the SEC had 2 teams make the 4 team playoff.
It happened 2 times in 10 years, both times the two SEC teams each only had 1 loss, meanwhile the other p5 conference champions in discussion had 2 or 3 losses and arguably did not deserve a spot
