I concede I'm a wet blanket, but this system, like each before it, is designed
to consolidate money and power with the royalty programs. And now that all but a very few of those are in only 2 conferences, I can guarantee the powerbrokers will have made certain that the selection committee will do what they want them to. The Big12, while equals on the field, has zero royalty programs. Hence, the Big12 will be a one-bid league.
