1000 ft AGL would look awesome too. The coolest image of mountains (IMHO) is with the top cut off by a cloud ceiling and

then when the setting sun finally dips below the clouds it and makes the entire western face glow in warmth from the ground all the way up to the cold cloud ceiling.

Having that ceiling and the feeling of the glowing mountain reaching all the way up and through it is awesome.
