Oh for sure. We already hear that excuse coming from them...
The excuse (losing only to FORMER PAC teams) doesn't fit the premature brag (we gonna dominate the Big12).
It's kind of like their "injury" or "but Cam Rising" excuse - they bragged about their incredible depth but now the lack of it is somehow an excuse for their brag not coming true.
