I get it. They are local. They talk sports. And they are on the air.

Thing is, when I’ve been passing through Utah, I’ve tried listening to some of them on occasion, and I just can’t stand it.

I came to that conclusion on my own, well before Cougarboard became a thing. Your media folks are genuinely awful. The cockiness, condescension, constant jabbing at “the predominant culture,“ and just an overall lack of competency, made it pretty easy for me to turn the dial and not come back.

I make one exception: following Ute losses, some of them can be quite entertaining.
