Only those who repeatedly tried to turn a benefit of being fed while actually working into a “bonus $25 of stuff at home everyday” fund (presumably after already using $45 that day appropriately) were fired.
It’s dishonest. I’d fire dishonest employees too.
One employee said if she didn’t need the money for food that day it would be better to use the money to get stuff for home than to “waste” it.
If saving company money, contributing to its profitability, is “wasting” money, we don’t have the same goals.
The view that the company exists only to benefit you as an employee, and money that doesn’t benefit you personally is a “waste”, is not one I want from my employees.
