Memphis fans are sick of waiting around to upgrade conferences. They've seen all of their closest rivals jump up a level and now they're stuck in a conference with the likes of Charlotte & North Texas. Playing Boise, Fresno, Washington State & Oregon State is a significant upgrade by comparison. And getting into a basketball conference with Gonzaga & SDSU is huge for that program.
