It's strange to me that they would run the fiber lines in front of people's
homes and initially be willing to connect those homes, but then at some future point decide they wouldn't connect those homes to their service.
Why spend all that money laying the lines if you are not going to run the simple connection to the side of the home. That's like the least expensive part of the connection.
