I enjoyed it muchly. It improved as it went on and finished strong. I thought
the rings/elves story > dwarves > Numenor > Gandalf > Isildur’s story. I feel like Isildur’s storyline is a bit YA-ish and something feels off about the Numenor stuff. I think for me maybe it feels disconnected from the main storyline.

So I hope the human stories get stronger in season 3 and if they do it will feel very good to me.

I’m loving that Galadriel is starting to show her story arc to become who she is in LOTR. It’s small but it’s starting to form. For example, she blamed herself so much for her weakness causing the events of the series and always tried to push and be strong enough, then Celebrimbor gets clarity at the end and gives her his speech about how light, not strength, is what defeats darkness and it impacts her. Fast forward to LOTR when she’s giving gifts to the fellowship and what does she give Frodo? Nothing to give him strength. She literally gives him a vial of light.

Anyway, I like where it’s going. It had its meh moments but come on, let’s chill out and enjoy a good thing.
