But you can be the super non-trad that is LDS and 5-10+ years into another career.
I changed from having an optometry school acceptance to taking a year off and then doing a post-bacc. Finished training at 35.
Non-trad are the best residents. They know how to work and they appreciate that residents aren’t the only people in the world who have ever worked 60+ hours a week.
