ldssdl Intervention Needed
I wasn't predicting a demise of the Utah program in any of those years.
But no program is immune to downturns, not even the blue bloods. Utah's basketball program has had several sharp rises and falls in the past 3 decades.

And frankly it seems quite natural for a program to slip in quality when tenured coaches are reaching the end of their careers. A few examples that come to mind are LaVell Edwards and Bill Belichik. Is it really far-fetched to believe that others like Kyle Whittingham and Mike Gundy are not quite as sharp as the near retirement? I've seen a number of yewt fans allude to Kyle wanting to retire within the next few years.

I'm not going to predict that Utah will never be good again, but this time it seems like there is a strong case to be made that your football program is about to take a dip.
