My wife and I are in the process of obtaining a well drilling permit to drill a well on land we own in central Utah. We will eventually build a home on the land in a few years. I'm meeting with a few well drilling companies at the land later this week to see which company is the best fit and get some preliminary pricing and talk through the timing and process.

If anyone has any experience with this, I would welcome any input, tips, or traps we should consider. TIA.
