Playoffs are a step up in pitching quality from the regular season. Feels like

enough to explain it. You could take the same stats by batters against pitchers that have faced Ohtani in the playoffs and compare to the stats of pitchers faced during September as a whole. I'm guessing pitcher quality explains almost 100% of this. But maybe not?
