That'd be tough. Depends on circumstances. Is it
rural area and some old lady who's had a problem with coyotes killing chickens shoot it at night when it was nowhere near my property?

Or are you close neighbors and the dog wandered 20' onto their property. To be fair I'd need more details.

If they were being reckless and it should have known better I'd have a serious problem. Other circumstances I wouldn't be angry. Would just feel guilty.
