If your house isn't in a flood plain, you may be safest at home. Hard to gauge
where the floods will venture, but if you're not close to the bayous or creeks, and you're not in an area that typically floods, you may not need to worry too much.
Trying to battle traffic out, pay high prices at a hotel, doesn't help.
