If you never signed a non-solicitation agreement, and any non-solicitation rules
were implemented after you left, you've got nothing to worry about.

On the facts you've shared alone, you probably have nothing to worry about since it was the employee who approached you.

But you should put your new company on notice about it, just so they can do their own risk analysis.
