I said "down a few spots" instead of "down a spot or two" to make things better fit on the subject line.

Similarly, I didn't specify in the subject line that this was a general rule of thumb, rather than a prediction for this week.

Perhaps my subject line should have said "100%. Given historical precedence, a good rule of thumb, when assessing where BYU will generally be ranked in the AP Poll, is to consider where Furlong has them ranked in that specific week and then consider that the likely ceiling for BYU's rank in the corresponding weekly AP Poll, with the high probability that BYU will actually be ranked a spot or two lower".
