they have for basketball. Maybe the number of games are too few to make that feasible, but it would be better than nothing as it gives you an objective measure. And I know, we have FPI, SP+, Sagarin, FEI, etc. but none are officially adopted by the committee like NET as an official rating system to use in seeding.
