This years combination of youth plus injury is most sizable I can remember.
There is enough talent and skill to see what was hoped for this year come to fruition next season and beyond.
Take 5 or 6 expected starters off any college team, let alone the entire previous years team and replace them with Freshmen and inexperienced Sophomores and their season will look like ours or worse.
Truthfully, anyone here who is above the fan level of caring only about wins, knew this year could be a struggle. The good news comes from the flashes when one can see the youthful team running Rockwood's system and making it work. Whatever was lacking last night the shots on goal were the best so far this season in terms of %. Only 2 of 13 shots were off frame. Even last years team didn't produce that %.
