Mozingo, Walbruch, Katoa, etc who are or were super productive in the girls game all can handle the ball. If you can’t control the ball you’re almost worthless imo.
You can’t teach that in college. That’s them training daily with a ball for 8-10 years before arriving at BYU
The exception over the last 5 years would be Fryer who is clearly the best on the field and is mostly an aggressive, run through a brick wall player with the ball bouncing everywhere . But she is a lot better on the ball then she was just a year or two ago and probably has improved more technically than any player recently imo.. though with that said I don’t think her touch will translate to the next level
Honestly it’s a 1% club of college girls with elite touch and elite speed.
The example of who I think has both the best in recent years is Smith-Griffits who I’ve always predicted will have a long pro career who will likely be the most productive BYU pro besides Hatch.
