It's CougConnect so either A) wrong, B) already widely known, or C) irrelevant
CougConnect isn't all bad - it provides NIL to players and it gives greater personal access to the fans.
Getting player reactions and experiences is a great thing. But they just absolutely insist on selling themselves as an insider source.
And when it comes to insider info, there's two possibilities
1. It's inside info the program doesn't mind getting out...in which case, others probably have it as well
2. It's inside info the program DOESN'T want getting out
In the second case, CougConnect either doesn't get it or does damage to BYU by putting it out there if they do get it
