HE does not rank Kansas State higher than BYU, ESPN's SP+ does.
He is not creating the rankings, he's just using the SP+ as the rankings, and then assigning the quadrant for those teams' wins. He addresses this in the video.
The quadrant numbers are incorrect FWIW (BYU vs. KSU would be a Q1 game for both teams).
