It's unrealistic to expect him to get a national championship and rule the Big12, like Lavell got a national championship and ruled the WAC, because BYU is on a much bigger stage now.
What's NOT unrealistic is to expect Sitake to be consistently competitive in this conference.
This year the team is off to a great start, but can they keep it going? Is this the beginning of a legitimate power in the Big12, or is this a one in every 10 - 15 years special season kind of thing and then we're straight back to 5-7 (or worse) for the next several years after that? The hope, of course, is that it's the former, but who knows?
