We certainly live within our means today
We save $70-90K a year in retirement and emergency savings.
We’re just about to cut my wife’s income, which represents about 25% of our household income. Thankfully, I make good money, so we should easily be able to make it work, it will require a lifestyle adjustment and being able to budget it out will help.

Attend the self reliance class on finance. It should be a requirement for every couple - young or old. Highly recommend
